The keynote speaker was international speaker Clifton Taulbert, an award-winning author, entrepreneur, educator, and CEO of two different companies. Clifton gave a tremendous message on the need for good character in our schools and communities.

Clifton Taulbert has written fourteen books, produced a major motion picture, and served as a consultant on several documentaries. His most recent book, The Invitation, was chosen by the Architect of the United States Capitol as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the signing of the 1964 Civil Rights Legislation. Another of his books, Eight Habits of the Heart, has impacted numerous educators and was read by former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor garnering Taulbert an invitation to address members of the United States Supreme Court and their invited guests.
